Dethlord The Roleplaying Game

Dethlord the Roleplaying Game is a retro-clone of D&D that has been reskinned and homebrewed.

Murder goblins, fuck strumpets, & loot treasure. This is a core fantasy adventure RPG that simple, fast, and metal as fuck \m/!

  • DM Zoth's Ruleset - This is the ruleset that DM Zoth uses for his homebrew campaigns and games.
  • A foot in the past with modern tweaks - Dethlord gives a nod to Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson while taking elements from mid-school and new-school games all while keeping it simple.

The #1 Rule to Live By

"It is the spirit of the game, not the letter of the rules, which is important. Never hold to the letter written, nor allow some barracks room lawyer to force quotations from the rule book upon you, if it goes against the obvious intent of the game. As you hew the line with respect to conformity to major systems and uniformity of play in general, also be certain that the game is mastered by you and not by your players...you are the creator and final arbiter." - Gary Gygax Afterword from the 1st Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Masters Guide

I would like to give credit to those that helped inspire this game. Take a look at the Credits page.
